How livable is Dhaka's environment?

With Ummul Momanin Coalee and Dr. Khandakar Hasan Mahmud, I built an Ecological Livability Quality (ELQ) index for Dhaka from five satellite-derived indicators and mapped it for summer, monsoon and winter in 2013, 2018 and 2023. Over the decade, more of the city slipped into poor and very poor conditions, with the west of the city most affected.

Cities
Greenness · NDVITemperature · LSTDryness · NDBSIWater-wetness · distance to waterAir · aerosol optical depth
